Where are we talking from today?
I’m currently located in Decatur Ga, a couple of miles from East Atlanta.
What is your take on politics?
Politics is a touchy subject for a lot of people, so I like to avoid the subject. Since you asked, I think we could do better in a lot of ways when it comes to our voting system. Like getting rid of the electoral college system. I do believe that politics are needed to run a country, but I know politics are not always politically correct.
Was there ever a time when you thought about doing something else? If you weren’t a musician today, what could you see yourself doing?
Hell yeah, I’ve had other ideas of what I would do. I got a list honestly. I love cooking, I would probably lean on that first. Its been a hobby for a little minute now. I like acting also, it’s a fun challenge. Just like music you are creating a world and leaving a mark on this one. I plan on opening a couple of clubs soon also. I am a third shift rider, so I love the nightlife. That’s my greatest passion other than recording music and performing.
What was it like putting together your EP?
Well, I live in my head. Especially with my music. I put most of my projects together way before I start to record it. That’s my favorite part of the whole process because I can let my imagination run wild. So writhing my project is one adventure then recording it is an entirely different experience. The finished product is what I appreciate the most because I can play out my entire writhing process in my head like a movie while I listen. Sometimes I pretend I’m listening to someone other than me.
If you were going to be stranded on a deserted island, what musical item would you take with you and why?
Hands down I would need a playable hard drive with unlimited beats. As long as I can write songs and have them memorized I would keep from losing my mind.
At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?
