Interview With Turbo Electric Overdrive

Where are we talking from today?

Ukiah, California.

What would you like to accomplish in 2020?

The main objective this year was getting booked for shows before the pandemic. Since the crisis arrived, priority has shifted to digital distribution.

What is your take on politics?

Nothing is what it seems. It doesn’t matter what party holds the office. The elections are always questionable as they resemble what I perceive to be another Hollywood production. The winner will always be held responsible for what transpires within the government like a sacrificial lamb or new-hire on the job.

What was it like putting together your EP?

There was a basic project management approach to it. I went with the most developed compositions, finished production, and released physical copies through the local record store.

At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your music?

More music to add in their life.
